We think that all true churches should be both distinct and unique; distinct in belief and practice according to the Scriptures, and unique as the church takes on the personality of her people and community. SMBC is distinctly Biblical and uniquely country. We are a group of baptized believers with unique and individual gifts whom God has united under the banner of His purpose; the spreading of the Gospel.

Opportunities for worship and learning each week include casual Sunday School classes led by gifted teachers, and spirit-filled worship services on Sunday morning and evening. Wednesday evening Bible study classes offer every age group opportunities to fellowship and grow in the Word. SMBC is a place where you may come as you are, and become who God wants you to be.

Bro. Paul W. Young is our pastor. He has been in the ministry for 49 years, serving churches in Arkansas and Kansas. Paul was our Pastor from 1983-1999, and returned to the church in the fall of 2007.

Bro. Joel P. Young serves at SMBC as Youth Pastor. He has been in the ministry for 28 years, and has served churches in Arkansas and Las Vegas, Nevada.
